I'm Rishabh Patel, a B.Tech student in Mathematics and Computing at IIT Delhi, driven by a passion for reinforcement learning, game AI, and algorithm design.
My work spans building autonomous game-playing agents using Deep Q-Networks to exploring combinatorial game theory beyond minimax approaches. I thrive at the intersection of mathematics and code.

Selected work
DQN Agent for Pokémon Red
Built an end-to-end Deep Q-Network agent capable of autonomously playing Pokémon Red from raw game frames. Independently engineered reward shaping and optimization logic, achieving performance on par with Peter Whidden's well-known benchmark implementation.
Adaptive Tic-Tac-Toe Engine
Developed a Tic-Tac-Toe game with a novel dynamic strategy engine that changes its winning logic pattern daily. Implemented provably optimal deterministic move sequences ensuring guaranteed wins under specific game-state conditions.
